St Patrick's Day

A great lunch of sausages bacon champ & onion gravy followed by lots of puddings!! Finished with a quiz with Marie as our quiz master.

Visit to Sevilla

The first picture is the Alcazar in Seville.The others are of the cathedral with its fabulous interior. The tomb is that of Christopher Columbus. We all climbed up to the top of the tower.

A good night had by all. Take note of bow tie & sash -handmade. The musicians were great- Jock the Box & Duncan Mackinnon flown in from Scotland especially for the night.

Sunset at Cape Trafalgar

Here we are enjoying a drink watching the sunset.The beach at Trafalgar is a 15min walk from the site.

Cordoba

We met up with Geoff & Margaret near Cordoba at a lovely site.


The city itself is fabulous with TheAlcazar & The Mezquita our favourite places. The buildings were amazing as were the gardens.

Travelling to Spain

We left France in search of the sun & crossed into Spain over the Pyrenees & through the Bielsa tunnel It was I'm afraid rather damp.

We travelled to Navajas near Valencia where we stayed for 6 nights. We enjoyed a day out in Valencia itself & enjoyrd browsing around the market.

Trevor certainly enjoyed taking the scenic route not always ideal for 2 large vehicles. We did actually meet a lorry on this narrow road -the Spanish driver had to reverse!!
