Visits to NY

We visited NY for the first time with Annette & Gordon. Arrived @ Grand Central Station-lovely chandeliers. Visited ground Zero 2 days before tenth anniversary. Very moving Tied ribbon on church railings.Saw the flags on display @ Battery Park.

Our trip to the US

We stayed with our friends' family in Hopewell Junction NY State. We had a great welcome from fabulous hosts lovely food & a hot tub as well!!

Oswestry RV Rally

We attended our first ever rally in August .Our van looked really small compared to the big American RVs. Enjoyed the fancy dress & the line dancing!!

We visited our friends at Monnington Hall who are renting a cottage in the grounds Fabulous grounds with sculptures galore.

The Royal Hill

This is where we spent 10 happy weeks this summer . Quite near our old home so convenient for Oswestry where we sorted out our furniture etc A great little campsite with a pub next door.

New truck!!

Oh dear after 3000 miles our tuck had to be taken away- broken fanbelt & auxilliary pulley sheered off Anyway it was returned 3 days later good as new-we hope.

Our new home

We picked up our new 5th wheeler mid June . We love all the extra space we now have & are busy sorting out where to put everything. At the moment we are staying on a campsite south of Oswestry next to a great pub by the river severn.
