Making Spanish friends

This is us with our lovely Spanish teacher Antonia. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch with her & her family.

There was a Spanish rally at our site We were invited for drinks & food & we met lots of lovely people especially teenagers . It was a good venue to practice our spanish.

We visited Vejer on one of their feria days We went on the Friday which was ladies day We saw lots of ladies dressed in national costume & enjoying their flamenco dancing.

A visit from Emma & her friend Sarah

Emma & her friend came to visit us for a few days in april staying in a bungalow on site .They had a good time especially on the beach .

Semana Santa

We stayed up late to go & watch one of the Easter processions . It started at 11pm with the huge statues of Jesus & Mary being carried by 60 men.. It was a fabulous spectacle with music bands & masses of people following the procession all night long until 5/6am.
