Sunset at Cape Trafalgar

Here we are enjoying a drink watching the sunset.The beach at Trafalgar is a 15min walk from the site.

Cordoba

We met up with Geoff & Margaret near Cordoba at a lovely site.


The city itself is fabulous with TheAlcazar & The Mezquita our favourite places. The buildings were amazing as were the gardens.

Travelling to Spain

We left France in search of the sun & crossed into Spain over the Pyrenees & through the Bielsa tunnel It was I'm afraid rather damp.

We travelled to Navajas near Valencia where we stayed for 6 nights. We enjoyed a day out in Valencia itself & enjoyrd browsing around the market.

Trevor certainly enjoyed taking the scenic route not always ideal for 2 large vehicles. We did actually meet a lorry on this narrow road -the Spanish driver had to reverse!!

Meeting up with friends

We met with Trevor & Elaine & stayed at Touzac campsite on the Lot . Lovely site but some rather chilly nights (-2)

Trevor & Derek tried fishing by the river -probably found more life in the bottle!

Montcuq Sept 2009

This is Montcuq the French village in the Southern Lot where we're going to have our house built.

The plot is at the bottom of George & Lynne's garden & we're just waiting for the geometre to sort out the new boundaries & for the maire to look at the result. Hope fully we can then start buiding perhaps around April next year.

The views are fabulous & the natives are very friendly!!

We'll keep you posted.

UK summer 2009

Cardiff Bay visit with Chris & Gill, a dry day!!!!

We visited the UK for 9 weeks in July & August for the BBQ summer-what happened???

We enjoyed seeing all our friends & family & visiting new places.

I attended a college reunion
at Cyncoed Cardiff 40 years after leaving !!













One of our best days out whilst we stayed in
Newport was a visit to the Big Pit . We had to
put on all the gear & descended by lift to the
coal face. Best of all it was free!!!.

Visiting Elke & Gunter in Bosel Germany

We had a very warm welcome when

we visited our friends in their lovely

home .
We had lots of fun playing Sequence

trying to explain the rules without any German on our part!!

Gunter & Elke took us to a super spa town nearby with a park overlooking

a lake.

We also visited Emden a German port on the North Sea.








Gunter is an expert on the bbq & we enjoyed lots of super meals & wine & beer.
