Sightseeing near Marbella

GIBRALTAR quite a cloudy morning on arrival but soon turned into a lovely sunny day.

Views from near the top of the rock show the entrance from Spain which crosses the Airport runway, fortunately they close the road when planes are about!

The famous Apes of Gibraltar-& one of them dressed as a tourist!

MIJAS one of the famous Pueblos Blancos-White Towns of Andalucia

CABOPINO MARINA - Derek pondering on his next purchase?

RONDA a short drive up into the mountains brings you to a facsinating old town
that is built on a ridge split in half by a gaping river gorge 130m below on 3 sides.

Marbella, Costa Del Sol

CAMPING CABOPINO This is where we stayed for 12 days. 5 minutes from beach but very close to a busy road.

As you can see a shady site, with good facilities-lots of Brits over wintering, some have full-timed here for 5 years or more!

Traveling down through Spain

Mary & Josh in the lovely city of Aranjuez just south of Madrid.

The motorway network through Madrid was so scary we didn't stop there.

The walk from our campsite to the city only took 15 minutes, a great place to stopover for a couple of days.

Grumpy old man-a picture of pure concentration whilst driving through the Sierra Nevada.

Just a few of the millions & millions of olive trees that we passed on the way.
